1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You may use the Services only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms under applicable law. By registering or using the Services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that your use of Lantarki is lawful.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting your password, PIN, OTP, API key, device access, and other credentials. Do not share authentication credentials with anyone. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

3. The Services

Lantarki may provide website, application, account, marketplace, digital, payment, transactional, communications, or other technology-enabled services. Available features may change from time to time and may depend on location, account status, third-party providers, verification, technical availability, or regulatory requirements.

Some services may be fulfilled in whole or in part by third parties. Their separate terms may apply to the relevant service.

4. Orders, Transactions and Instructions

Where the Services allow orders, transfers, purchases, payments, or other transactions, you are responsible for checking all information before confirming an instruction, including the recipient, account, phone number, product, amount, and other relevant details.

Once a transaction has been successfully submitted to or completed by a third-party provider, it may not be possible to cancel or reverse it. We may attempt to assist with genuine errors where reasonably possible, but we cannot guarantee a reversal.

5. Fees and Pricing

Prices, fees, charges, commissions, exchange rates, discounts, or other amounts displayed through the Services may change. The applicable amount shown before confirmation or otherwise communicated to you will govern the transaction, subject to obvious errors or applicable law.

Third-party providers may impose additional charges outside Lantarki's control.

6. Payments, Wallets and Balances

Where Lantarki offers payment, wallet, balance, virtual-account, or similar functionality, such functionality may be provided through licensed or authorised third-party financial-service providers. Lantarki does not represent that every feature is a bank account or deposit product unless expressly stated.

Availability, settlement times, reversals, limits, verification, and related functionality may depend on the relevant provider.

7. Refunds and Failed Transactions

If a transaction fails and funds have been debited, any applicable refund, reversal, or reconciliation will be handled according to the transaction status, provider response, applicable law, and our operating procedures. Processing time may depend on third-party providers.

Contact support with the transaction reference and relevant details if you believe a transaction was incorrectly processed.

8. Verification and Compliance

We may request information or documents to verify identity, account ownership, transaction legitimacy, age, source or purpose of funds where relevant, or compliance with legal and security requirements. We may restrict functionality until required verification is completed.

9. Prohibited Use

You must not use Lantarki to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
• commit fraud, impersonation, identity theft, money laundering, unauthorised transactions, or other abusive conduct;
• interfere with, probe, attack, reverse-engineer, overload, or bypass security controls of the Services;
• use stolen, false, misleading, or unauthorised information or payment methods;
• misuse promotions, referrals, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, APIs, or account functionality;
• upload malware or use automated systems in a way that harms the Services or other users.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security threats, prohibited activity, legal or regulatory requirements, abuse, unpaid obligations, material breach of these Terms, or risks to Lantarki, users, or third parties.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may request additional information or provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through our Account Deletion page. Account deletion does not automatically cancel or erase obligations, completed transactions, disputes, debts, fraud/security records, or information that we are legally required or permitted to retain.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to, integrate with, or rely on third-party websites, payment processors, communications providers, vendors, identity services, delivery providers, APIs, or other platforms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

13. Intellectual Property

Lantarki and its licensors retain rights in the software, website, applications, branding, logos, interfaces, text, graphics, designs, and other materials forming part of the Services, except for user content or third-party materials. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, or exploit protected materials except as permitted by law or with written permission.

14. Availability and Disclaimers

We aim to provide reliable Services, but availability may be affected by maintenance, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party outages, provider downtime, security events, force majeure, legal requirements, and other circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lantarki will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or purely speculative losses arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

You remain responsible for losses caused by inaccurate instructions you submit, disclosure of credentials, unauthorised use resulting from your failure to reasonably secure your account, or prohibited or unlawful activity attributable to you.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Lantarki against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms.

17. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or update these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal, security, or operational changes. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Before commencing formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
